Violet is a sweet 1 year old kitty.  She has had a tough start to life, becoming a mom at only 8 months old.  She was surrendered to our rescue along with her 3 newborn kittens (Corbin, Landon, Gretchen). 

When she came into the rescue she was very thin and stressed out.  Being so young when she had her babies really took a toll on her.  She was about 6 pounds and should have weighed 8.  You could tell by the look in her eyes that she didn't know what being a mom was all about.  She just knew she loved those little alien babes and didn't want anything to happen to them!

She was a fantastic mom and raised 3 good little kids.  They are off looking for their new homes and now its Mama Violet's turn too! 

Violet loves to be petted and held in a lap.  She LOVES toys!  She is very playful and just wants to be a kitten.  Being a young mom might have made her grow up too soon but now she is learning to be a kid again!  She likes toys of all types and is very funny chasing them around!  Her favorite things are a ball on a circle track and the laser pointer.  She has a pink bucket that she loves to hide in and roll around in, it is too funny!

Violet can be shy in new situations but warms up quickly.  She has had a lot of tough changes in her last 3 months and is ready to have a home where she won't have so much to worry about.  She is sweet and silly, we just love this girl and her antics!  She has an awesome personality and deserves a good home! 

Violet is good with cats, loves people, and is curious about dogs.  She can be adopted by herself for $75, or with one of her kittens for $160.  She is spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV+FeLV, and has been treated with flea and worm preventatives.  She has been very healthy.

Please visit our sweet kitties at the Fruitville Pike Petsmart in Lancaster, PA on Saturdays from 1:30-3:30pm.
