Hi! I'm Benny! - I am very affectionate - and I LOVE LAPs! - I was rescued from a kill shelter - I was a bad boy then because I was young and didn't know how to behave and I bit a few volunteers - Mom was told that if I wasn't taken away that day that I would have to be euthanized - so she brought me to Kitty Colony and worked to teach me my manners. I must say I have grown up quite a bit since then and have reformed my ways - I haven't been a bad boy for a while now- and Mom thinks I am ready! Hooray! - but she is worried that if I go to a home with kids or with someone who doesn't treat me gently that I may forget my manners - so I need a family/home that understands my past and will treat me with special care and attention - and gentle discipline if needed!

*Note - Benny has spent several years now in foster care, and is now my bed buddy.  He can still be rambunctous,  mischevious and moody when he chooses, but mostly he is a lovable lap cat. I love him dearly, but if the right home comes along, Benny will be free to choose his own path.  - Benny's foster mom

Special Needs:  Benny recently had a close call with crystals and will need to be monitored or on a prescription diet to keep him free of crystals.

Please visit our sweet kitties at the Fruitville Pike Petsmart in Lancaster, PA on Saturdays from 1:30-3:30pm.
