River is extremely playful and inquisitive.  She is constantly moving.  When you walk in the door, she comes running to greet you.  She was found living outside with her two sisters. 

UPDATE 6/26/12:  River is a delightful little lady.  She is a total love!  She loves to be petted and will meow at us for attention.  She has really developed in to a wonderful girl.  I have nothing negative to say about her at all, she is a complete joy to be around.  She was originally named for her tendancy to be in constant motion like a River.  Now, however she has calmed considerably from her days of hyperactivity.  She still has lots of energy but she now has beautiful moments of calm where all she wants is to be near her humans.  River is now three years old and is the last from her litter.  However, she does have two younger brothers, Roman and Ross.  She is smaller than both her brothers but she is very much a "big sister."  She grooms them, cuddles with them, and plays with them. We would love to see River adopted with one of her younger brothers but is not required for adoption.  She could also be adopted with her buddy and foster sister Ella.  They hang out together a lot and would make a wonderful pair.  Her adoption fee is $50.00, or $75.00 for her and another cat.

Please visit our sweet kitties at the Fruitville Pike Petsmart in Lancaster, PA on Saturdays from 1:30-3:30pm.
