Serena was found living in a Burger King parking lot on Halloween night.  She was with her sister Sabrina.  It took her a little bit of time to trust humans but now she loves to be petted.  She has a sweet personality and will make a good companion kitty.

UPDATE 7/22/12: Serena is such a sweet little lady.  She is very slow-moving and melow.  She is curently fostered with a three month old kitten and she is so incredably patient and gentle  with the kitten.  Serena purrs constantly and loves her foster mom a whole lot. She purrs and rubs on her foster mom's legs.  She sleeps at the foot of her foster mom's bed.  Serena as so sweet and loving.  She would do well in a home with no children, or with older kids or teenagers instead.  We do not recomend her for family with young children who might torment her, she has such a soft and gentle personality that it would be easy for kids to do things to her that other cats would not tolerate.  Serena would do well as an only cat or with other cats, she has been fostered with many other cats and she gets along with everyone she meets.  She has never been around dogs but we are certain that she would be fine with a calm, gentle dog.  Does Serena sound like the perfect cat for you?  She has been waiting two years for a forever home, and she thinks you sound perfect to her!

Serena had dental surgery on 7/12/12, she had 12 teeth removed that had been making her mouth sore and giving her trouble eating.  We do not predict that she will need any additional dental care aside from having her mouth checked at her yearly vet visit.  She eats dry food just fine with her remaining teeth.  She also eats wet food as a treat sometimes in the evening.

Serena's adoption fee is $50.00.  She can be visited by appointment at the Fruitville Pike PetSmart in Lancaster, PA.
