About Lenna | |
|
|
Lenna was hit by a car on 6/23/12. One of our foster moms saw her after her accident and picked her up to take her to the vet. 'Lenna' means 'lion's strength' and she certainly lives up to it! She is such an amazing survivor! Lenna's tail was severed when she was hit by the car. She has no lasting effects such as paralysis or loss of bowel or bladder control. Amazingly, she had no broken bones. She does seem to have a bit of weakness in one of her back legs and we Have been doing some strengthening therapy to help with the weakness and it has improved quite a bit. She walks well, but 'bunny hops' when she runs, keeping her back legs together. She uses a set of doggy stairs to get up on the bed and does just fine jumping from one stair to the next, but I dont encourage her to jump onto or off of the bed, I think it is safer for her to use the stairs until she is bigger. She is vaccinated and is ready for adoption. She loves to be held and snuggled and purrs like crazy. Lenna has an awesome personality. She is very outgoing and friendly. She is a Mama's girl, through and through. She is all about her people and wants to be around her foster family constantly. She is bold, social, and inquizative. She is fearless, and is always checking things out. Lenna is very interactive, she loves being the center of attention, and loves toys that are interactive with her human. She loves when her foster mom uses teaser toys and toys that are on a string. Lenna would make a wonderful addition to any family.
Lenna is fostered with Serena, and could be adopted with her. If someone was interested in adopting both her and Serena, their adoption fee would be $125.00.
If you want to meet Lenna drop us an email or message us on facebook if you are interested in adopting her!!
Her adoption fee is $100.00 and she is vaccinated for distemper and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She will be spayed and vaccinated for rabies when she is 4 pounds.
