Marlie is being fostered in Lancaster, PA and is only available to be adopted within PA.  She is Spayed, vaccinated, negative for FIV/FeLV and has been regularly treated with flea and worm preventatives.  Marlie's adoption fee is $50.00.

Marlie is a special little lady.  She has had a very rough start.  She was rescued from a feral colony where she was one of the few friendly kitties.  She was pregnant at the time of her rescue, and delivered prematurely.  Marlie was lucky enough to be in a very experienced foster home where she and her babies got excellent care immediately following birth. 

She was a fantastic mommy to her babies, but was very overprotective of them.  When her babies were not around, she was very sweet and loving and craved attention, but when her babies were nearby she would become defensive and short tempered with us.

Since her babies have moved out and gone to their forever homes, Marlie has done a great job learning to be friendly again.  Her foster mom has spent a lot of time working with her. 

Marlie loves to be petted and will sit next to you while you read or watch tv.  She loves to have her head scratched!  She is beginning to trust enough to be picked up, but does not like to be held yet. 

She likes to play with the laser toy and LOVES to eat treats! 

Due to the defensive behavior she has displayed we will only consider families with no children for her.  She is good with mellow dogs, and doesn't mind her foster family's shepherd mix at all.  She is wonderful with all cats.  She can be a really sweet girl when she wants to be, and we would love to be able to find a family for her!

Marlie just needs someone to give her a chance to blossom.  She is so sweet once she learns to trust you, with a little love and patience, Marlie will be a great pet!

Her adoption fee is $50
