Lakelan is being fostered in Lancaster, PA.  She is only available to be adopted within PA.  She is vaccinated and will be spayed when she is old enough. 

Lakelan is a lovely little lady!  She loves to be petted!  Her favorite thing is to have her belly rubbed.  She likes to lay across your legs while you rub her tummy.  She is very playful, and she loves the laser toy!  She loves to wrestle with her brother Lennon, he is her best friend.  She is definitely a little princess!

Lakelan's mother, Marlie, was rescued by Kitty Colony.  We knew she was about 3 weeks away from delivery of a litter of kittens.  However, to our shock, Marlie went into labor only days after being rescued and gave birth prematurely.  Her babies were tiny and so fragile.  They were lucky enough to be born into a very experienced foster family with a trained veterinary assistant in the family.  Marlie had 5 little preemies, and 3 of them survived thanks to the dedicated hands-on care of their foster family.  They are very lucky little survivors.  They have all caught up to their developmental milestones and are doing fantastic!! 

Lakelan has two brothers, Lennon and Lincoln.  She is also fostered with her cousins, Raya, Ryan, Reese, Riannon, and Rexann.  She could be adopted with either of her siblings or any one of her cousins.  She would do best in a home with another cat already in the home, or she could be adopted with another kitten.
