Vena is being fostered in Lancaster, PA and is only available to be adopted within PA. She is spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and has been regularly treated with flea and worm preventatives. Her adoption fee is $50.
Vena is a pretty little lady who is looking for a home of her own! She is about 6 years old. She has striking green eyes and a sleek black coat.
She loves people!!! She loves to be petted and likes to follow her foster family around.
Vena has had a hard life. She has been through multiple homes and has been returned to our rescue twice. She is a wonderful little girl, and it isn't her fault none of her homes have worked out. She is a sweetie!!
Vena LOVES to be petted and have her head scratched. Likes to sit near you while you watch tv and loves to hang out with her foster family. She is a great kitty! She always uses her scratching post! She likes toys, but doesn't really know how to play correctly with them. She especially likes to chew on her toys! She is very talkative and chirps and purrs constantly.
Vena has a deformed ear from a hematoma. She had surgery to repair the hematoma and although her ear now looks funny, it doesn't bother her. Vena has had urinary tract infections in the past, and needs to be on PurinaONE urinary health diet food. She is also used to having canned food once a day.
Vena is alright with gentle kitties who won't bother her, but is not good with most dogs. She would do best in a home where she is an only pet.
She can easily be over stimulated and get scared, so she would do well in a calm home with no children. She does not need a lot of room to roam in the house, and may even prefer to be kept in one room most of the time. She has been an apartment kitty before, and loved it!
Vena is available for our foster-to-adopt program, allowing an interested family to take her home and try her for a few weeks. If it doesn't work out, she can come back to her current foster home.
Vena will be at the petsmart on fruitville pk in Lancaster most Saturdays from 1-3:30! Please email us if you are coming to meet her!!
