Hello all - I'm Laffy Taffy - I am a sweet and social gal who loves attention and an absolutely adorable lap cat! I would love to sleep with you and play with my toys on your bed with you!

However, I am even more special - cause I have had some big obstacles to overcome in my life but for some reason I still love people! I was abandoned at a farm in Lancaster County - and as a friendly but BLIND kitty life was scary then because with my formerly sore teeth and gums  my mouth felt like it was on fire all the time and it hurt so badly to eat! My rescuers were horrified at my screams of pain. They took me away from there and found that the best way for my mouth to heal was to remove my teeth - so I got all my naughty teeth taken out and now I can eat all I want! (They tell me that I eat too much sometimes though - I have a tendency to be a little chubby)


Although my rescuers wish they could keep me, they have a full house already and really feel I deserve a home where I can get more attention - so here I am - looking for a family who can help a special girl find love and happiness.


please note: Laffy Taffy is BLIND and FIV+ but has lived with other cats both FIV+/- with no difficulties other than the fact that she is nervous about other kitties being in her personal space because she can't see them coming. Due to the fact she has no teeth, there is almost no chance of her passing on the virus. She is an extremely healthy kitty with no other health concerns/issues. Once she acclimates herself to her surroundings she gets around fine even though she is blind.
She would do best in a mature home with older kitties and without dogs.


The adoption fee for Taffy is $75.00

Please visit our sweet kitties at the Fruitville Pike Petsmart in Lancaster, PA on Saturdays from 1:30-3:30pm.
